Henry Peter Allen's parents were Captain James S. Allen, 1832-1877 (buried in Grays Cemetery, Clinton County, IN) & Aurilla (Arrilla) Pittsenbarger Allen Bosworth, 1843-1917 (buried in King City Cemetery). He had a brother (John Wesley Allen; 1867-1952) & sister (Bervina "Anna" Allen; 1869-1955) plus 3 half siblings: Ida May Bosworth Kier(1879-1963; buried in King City Cemetery); Willard Grover Bosworth (1884-1972) & Jessie Pearl Bosworth Brown Kellam Brown (1886-1971). His 1st child, son, Earl Raymon Allen lived only 23 days (3/7/1901-3/30/1901) & is buried in King City with his parents as is his 2nd child, Lloyd Clayton Allen (5/21/1908-11/11/1927). Lloyd & Henry's wife Maggie Ellen (Funk) Allen died on Nov. 11, 1927 due to a family tragedy when Henry killed them and then, himself.
