She was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on December 26, 1913, the daughter of Thompson and Ethel Rankin Cooper. Both parents preceded her in death.
She married Harrison Denney, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one brother Claude Cooper of New Castle, Indiana; and three sisters Lucy Rogers of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Mollie Cooper of New Castle, Indiana, and Mildred Poe of Monticello, Kentucky.
Preceding her in death are three brothers Fox, Wilson, and Rankin Cooper; and three sisters Pearl Coe, Georgia Cooper, and Lela Rector.
She was a retired LPN.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 8, 1998 at 10 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Koger Ramsey officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery.
