"Felix Lowe Died Wednesday" After a lingering illness of many months Felix Lowe succumbed to death at his residence in the west part of town Wednesday, July 25th at 3:35 P.M. Mr. Lowe was born in White County, Tennessee, March 6th, 1876, and was 58 years, 4 months and 19 days of age. He came to Texas when about 16 years old and in Dec. 25, 1909, married Miss Mandy Bohanon, and had lived near and in Malone since that time. He was a Christian and highly esteemed by his friends. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. He is survivied by two brothers, Bud, and L.P. of Hollis, Okla., and two half brothers, Houston and Jim Lowe, Malone; one sister, Mrs. J.R. Baker, of Hubbard and three half sisters, Mrs. Monnie Woods of Woodbury, Mrs. Sallie Rawls of Massey and Mrs. Laurie Herrell of Malone and his wife and six children, Mrs. Nodie Pope, Miss Alice, Modena, Dorothy, Violet and Ester and 1 grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. with Rev. M.R. Cox officiating and interment in Cottonwood cemetery. Marshall and Marshall of Hillsboro, in charge of arrangements. The Register joins the host of friends in offering sympathy to the bereaved ones in this hour of sorrow.
