Mrs. Julia Keller, 52, Dies at Hospital From General Breakdown
Wife of Jacob Keller, of Brock St., Had Been in Ill Health for Three Months
Mrs. Julia Keller, 52, wife of Jacob Keller, of 1200 Brock St., died this morning at 5:45 o'clock at the Locust Mountain Hospital at Shenandoah, where she had been a patient for the past week. Mrs. Keller had been in poor health for the past three months. Death was due to a general breakdown.
Mrs. Keller was born in Ashland, a daughter of the late Anderson and Mary Vaughn. She spent all her life here. She was a member of St. Mauritius Church and of the Rosary Society of that church.
To survive, she leaves her husband and the following children: Mrs. Victor Omlor, of Ashland; Charles, of Millersville; Leo, Francis, Catherine, Julia, and Anna Frances all at home. Three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. John Mehlbaum, of Ashland, Mrs. Thomas Sullivan, of Girardville, and a brother, Joseph Vaughn of Ashland also survive.
Mrs. Keller was a woman of kind and quiet nature. She made a host of friends during her life time here and they all join today with her family in their sudden bereavement.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning with Mass at 9:30 o'clock in St. Mauritius Church here. Interment will be made in the parish cemetery with Frank L. Burke, the funeral director in charge.
