Theresa A. Peo, 85, Altoona, died Monday in the Palliative Care Unit at Altoona Hospital. She was born in Altoona to Antonio & Maria Carmosino. She married Joseph Peo Nov. 6, 1948 and he died March 23, 1971. Survived by daughters: JoAnn Peo and Ann Marie Hetrick & husband, Tom, all of Altoona; son, Richard of Altoona; 2 grandsons: Nicholas and Richard; 2 great-grandchildren: Rylee and Dominic; and sister, Angeline Varrato of Elwood City. She was predeceased by brothers: Nick, Sam, Vincent and Michael; and sisters: Jenny and Jo Marie Lego. Theresa was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, where she sang in the church choir for many years. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, Oct. 28, 2009, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be held at the convenience of the family at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal, Calvary Cemetery.
