Katherine Clagett Davis of La Plata passed at her home. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textiles from the University of Maryland. Owner of Kay's Designs, and a fashion consultant for Doncaster clothing. She managed the women's department at P.S. Bowling's for more than 35 years. She was a member of the Charles County Garden Club, Civista Foundations, Treasurer, and Honorary chair for 2003 Mardi Gras Ball for Civista Foundation. She was also a member of the Christ Church, Port Tobacco Parish.
She was the daughter of Allan Page Clagett and the late Katherine Lilly Mitchell Clagett. In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughters, Laurie Davis Taylor, and Christa Davis Kuhl, both of La Plata; sons-in-law, Andrew Taylor and Jeffrey Kuhl also of La Plata.
The Rev. Joseph Trigg officiated. Burial was at Mt. Rest Cemetery, La Plata. Pallbearers were Van Mitchell, John Mitchell, Casey Mitchell, Skip Mudd, Steuart Bowling, and Norman Stakhouse.
