ASHEVILLE – Van Bullman, 80 of Asheville, died Tuesday, October 27th, 2009.
Mr. Bullman was born April 28, 1929 in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Army. Van was a member of Gashes Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Spurgeon and Dinah Norton Bullman, wife, Lola Bullman and brother, Arlan Bullman.
Surviving is his son, Vandel Bullman of New York; daughter, Teresa Wilson of Asheville, grandson, Aaron Wilson and brother, Red Bullman and wife, Judy.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Sprouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Spurgeon Bullman Cemetery.
