Mr. Vandruff was born October 7, 1882, in Williamstown, Mo. He came with his parents to Grant county at the opening of the Cherokee Strip, the family homesteading the farm where Mr. Vandruff and family have been living.
He was married on February 22, 1918, to Miss Celie Sharp, and to this union were born two children, Louise and Martha Jane, at home. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Isy (Shoptaugh) Vandruff, of San Jose, Calif.; six sisters and a brother. One sister, Mrs. Orville (Verda) Slater, resides in Medford.
