My grandmother, Lillian (Koch) Colborn, was born 28 Dec 1888 to John and Anna (Hansen) Koch in Bible Grove, Illinois. She was the youngest of four girls, Rena, May, Christina and Caty. The Koch Family arrived in the United States in 1884 from their home in Denmark. Lillian married Frank Colborn in 1906 and they had two children: Dale and Kathleen. Lillian died of diphtheria in 1917 and was buried in St. Matthew Cemetery in St. Louis.
