Earl Hales, 56, of Atlantic Beach, Florida, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at his home.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 22, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, Georgia.

Mr. Hales was born October 18, 1947, in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Emmett A. and Ruby Mae Greeson Hales. He retired Chief Petty Officer from the United States Navy.

Mr. Hales is survived by one sister and brother-in-law: Jeanell and Tommy Conger, West Branch, MI; Niece: Wanda and Jack Kent, Valdosta; nephew: Mitchell and Essie Merritt, Tifton.
