This is Kipper. He was the best little friend and dog that I ever had. Kipper joined our family in July of 2007. He was a little puppy I was trying to find a home for, unbenoanst to us; he had his home already. He would grow to become my dog, even though everyone in the family loved him. On my worst days, he would always come through for me and get me in a better mood, and would get me to smiling again. He gave me such happiness and joy just by looking at me with those big brown eyes, and following me around as to say, "Hey mommy, I'll be here for you and help you get through your bad times." He was truly my baby boy!! Kipper was brutally attacked when he was taken out for his nightly potty trip by 2 stray dogs; a German Shepard and a mutt. The dogs saw Kipper and ran straight for him, attacking and injuring him in his own yard. He was beyond any hope of saving, he was too severely injured. Losing him as been so very difficult to the family, but especially to me. I know he is up in heaven....safe, but there will always be such an emptiness and hole left in my heart. No other dog will ever replace my Kip Kip. We rushed him to the vets, but it was too late to save him. He was put to sleep, dying in my arms. The third picture on his bio is the last one taken of Kipper. He died shortly after. I kept telling him how much mommy loved him and how much he meant to us. He was buried with his favorite toy....his little stuffed rabbit he LOVED playing with. He would sleep with me and that silly rabbit, laying with one arm over it, as though he was hugging him all night long.

I want to send my thanks out to all that leave him flowers/tokens. God bless you for taking the time out to remember my "little boy."

I would also ask in the memory of Kipper the importance of being a responsible pet owner by keeping track of pets and not letting them just run loose; so that no other family has to go through the pain and heartache we are experiencing. Thank you.
