ARFSTEN, Betty-Jane, 63, of Tampa passed away October 28, 2009. She was born in New York City and was a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie Brock. Surviving are her father, William P. Brock; a sister, Veronica Valor (Francisco); cousin, Lorraine McCashin (Bob); Dawn Perotti; Godchild, Rob McCashin and her beloved dog "Teddy". Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Memories south mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Melech Hospice House, 12973 Telecom Pkwy, Suite 100, Temple Terrace, FL 33637, as part of a fund to purchase a memorial brick in Betty – Jane's honor.
