Muriel Jones Marrelli passed away at her home Monday, June 21, 1999.
Born July 7, 1927 in Provo, Utah, the eldest child of Vera Mower and William C. Jones.
She married Ernest Marrelli on March 13, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was a member of the Mueller Park 9th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She graduated from East High School and attended the University of Utah.
She worked for Montgomery Ward, Litton Industries, and for 23 years at E Systems primarily as the supervisor of payroll and accounting services.
Muriel was an energetic person, always on the go.
She taught cultural refinement in Relief Society, was active in the American Business Women's organization, and served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Pioneer Credit Union.
For 45 years she enjoyed the association of her sisters in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
She is survived by her husband Ernie of Bountiful and her four children: Ron (Linda), Rod (Nancy), all of Bountiful, Robyn of Hailey, Idaho and Roger (Lisa) of Taylorsville; four brothers: Ronald, Gordon, Errol and Rex Jones and one sister Camille Harmon; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mueller Park 9th Ward, 1800 East Mueller Park Road (1800 South), Bountiful.
Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah.
Sisters of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will conduct a Broken Circle Ritual at the mortuary, Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m.
