Egyptian Pharaoh. He was the last ruler of Egypt's Fourth Dynasty, reigning for approximately six years from 2504 BC until his death in 2500 BC. He was responsible for completing the pyramid of his father, Menkaure, at the same time as constructing his own tomb. Unusually for this period, he built no pyramid of his own, choosing instead to be buried in a giant mastaba, or bench tomb, measuring over ninety-nine meters in length and two hundred and forty feet in width.
