Ralph Goldsborough Bilbrough, aged 17, died about 3 o'clock Monday morning at his home near town, from septic meningitis, following injuries he suffered in a fall from a tree about two weeks ago. His leg, following the fall, became painful and he was taken to the Emergency Hospital, Easton, for an xray. On Tuesday of last week he was returned home from the hospital and septic meningitis developed. He was a member of the Baptist Sunday School here and was popular among the younger set. He was the youngest son of the late Alfred B. Bilbrough and Mrs. Michael Picollo, and besides his mother, is survived by one brother, Alfred B. of Felton, Del., and one sister, Mrs. Harry Godfrey, of Wilmington, Del. Funeral services were held at his late home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Mary P. Garrett, pastor of the Bethel Holiness Church, Goldsboro, officiating, and being assisted by Rev. J.C. Ledbetter and Rev. George Renegar. Interment was made in Greensboro Cemetery. The young people's choir of the Baptist Church sang at the funeral and the pall-bearers were his Sunday School chums-Horace Howard, Horace Edwards, Richard Ledbetter, Alan Dragoo, Benjamin Beckham, Albert Shields.
