Born April 19, 1922 passed this life on Wednesday, July 26, 2000. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving, devoted family including seven sons, Homer, Ronald, and Gary Wesley, all of Mobile, Embry, Jr., Eugene, Floyd and Jerry Wesley, all of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Joann Scott and Florence Clanton-Goode, both of San Diego, CA; six sisters, Lugenia Wright and Consuela Olison of Prichard, AL, Lucy Nelson of Theodore, AL, Georgia Kyles of Chicago, IL, Mentha Williams of Mt. Vernon, NY, and Jellene Norwood of Mobile, AL; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many other relatives and friends, two devoted friends, Mr. R.C. and Mrs. Willie Mae Hunter. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 4, 2000 at the Church of God Pentecostal, 818 Telegraph Road, Prichard, AL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral hour with Bishop E.D. Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to HODGES CHAPEL, 701 Dr. MLK Ave., Mobile, AL 36603.
