Lawannah S. Hill, 88, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in Granbury.
Service: 3:30 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Independence Chapel. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hill was born May 10, 1921, near Walters, Okla. She was a resident of Fort Worth and environs 70 years. She retired from Lennox Industries with 37 years of service. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Eastern Star, Richland Hills Chapter 1040, and past worthy matron from 1981-1982.
She was preceded in death by husband, Archie C. Hill; parents, Loren and Minerva Sutherland; and brother, L.H. Sutherland Jr.
Survivors: Son, Stuart C. Hill and wife, Barbara; grandsons, Stuart C. Hill Jr. and wife, Melanie, and Jefferson S. Hill and Sarah Loeb; great-grandsons, Austin and Alexander; and sister, Joan King.
