Obituary - Theodore L. Arthur, 49, of 13 Bell street, Bellport, died at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital last Thursday after a short illness.
Born in Brookhaven he was a lifetime resident of this area. He owned his own trucking business.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Macaulay Arthur; a son, Chester; and a daughter, Mrs. Marjories Hermus, all of Bellport, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Valentine of Florida; mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Arthur of Bellport; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at Ruland's Funeral Home, Patchogue, the Rev. Frederick I. Smith, pastor of the Methodist Church of Bellport, officiating. Interment was in Oakdale Cemetery (Oaklawn), Brookhaven.
