Eagle St, widow of Joseph F.
Cupolo, died yesterday in St
Luke's-Memorial Hospital
Center alter a long llness.
She was born to New York
City, daughter of MiChael and
Lucretla Cupolo Zito. She
moved to Italy as an infant and
attended school there. She
returned to the US., settling in
Utica, at the age of 21. She was
married in Utica to 1933.
Mr. and Mrs. Cupolo owned
and operated the Colgate Candy
Co. for 30 years. Mr. Cupolo
died in 1963. Mrs. Cupolo
operated the Colgate Luncheonette
since 1964.
' She was a member of the
First Assembly of God Church.
She leaves her mother, in
Italy; a son, Frank J., Utica;
two daughters, Miss Marie R.
Cupolo and Mrs. Roger
(Lucretla) Goff, both of Utica;
a sister, Mrs. Carmine (Maria)
Saporito, Italy.
The funeral will be at 10
Saturday from the Matt
Funeral Home with burial in
Forest Hill Cemetery.
