Shirley Dean 'Deanie' (Anderson) Strangis, 73, of Linesville, died Nov. 6, 2009 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born Nov. 24, 1935 in Pettry, WV to Carlos & Georgia (Williams) Anderson. She retired in 1993 as an office manager from PNS Entertainment Enterprises. Previously she worked for 10 years at CMD Electronics in McKeesport, Pa. She was a member of the Traditional Latin Mass Apostolate in Saegertown. Life member, DAV auxiliary. Survivors include husband of 54 years, whom she married Nov. 24, 1954, Samuel A. Strangis; 6 daughters, 18 grandchildren; 4 gr. grandchildren; 2 sisters and a brother. Calling will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, Linesville. A Latin Requiem Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernadette's Church, Renner Lane, Saegertown. Burial, Our Lady Queen of the Americas.
