Mrs. Alice M. (Richard) LeBlanc, 90, of Middleton, beloved wife of Joseph Leo LeBlanc, died Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.


Born in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Urbain and Anna May (Despres) Richard. She was raised and educated in Lynn. She attended the former St. Jean the Baptist School and Lynn Classical High School.


As a young woman, Alice had been employed in the Shoe Industry. A dedicated mother and wife, Alice had a love of cooking, music, crafting and reading. She will be deeply missed.


In addition to her loving husband of sixty-six years, Alice is survived by her daughter, Susanne Pope of Halifax, Mass., Therese LeBlanc and Lester Cundari of Middleton; her son, Leo Joseph LeBlanc and his wife Louise of Middleton; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Ed Richard of Lynn; and several nieces and nephews.


Her funeral will be held from the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple Street (Route 62), Danvers, on Monday at 9:15 a.m., followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church, Middleton, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
