Henderson Jones is dead, was a native of Tennessee. Funeral this afternoon.
Henderson Jones is dead. After suffering from rheumatism for years he died at his home 720 Clay St. at 11:15 am yesterday. He was born in Tennessee November 17, 1829, and was therefore nearly 69 years old at the time of his death. Mr. Jones has been a resident of Greene County many years and owned the famous Jones Spring 5 miles southeast of Springfield. His widow and three grown children survive him. The funeral will take place at 4 o'clock this afternoon, after which the remains will be buried at Jones Spring.
From US Hiway 65, east on Catalpa about 1 mile. Spring is on private property. Exact location of grave is unknown.
