Joseph DeShazer, 69, died last Tuesday after a lifetime spent in Clackamas County. Following an illness of two months, he passed away at his Dover farm home where he had resided for 57 years. Funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Sandy Community Church, with burial in the Sandy Cemetery.
The deceased was born at Clackamas May 17, 1875. He is survived by his widow, Erma;; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Kitzmiller, Oregon City, Mrs. Peter Peshall, Sandy, and Mrs. Edward McCabe, Portland; two sons, Ralph of Dover, and Raymond, Ocean Park, Wash.; Verdon Fritchie, step-son, Sandy; Joy Fritchie, step-daughter, Dover; two brothers, James, Sandy and Henry, Idaho Falls, Idaho; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
