Samuel Kaser, 94, Brinkhaven Rt. 1, died at 4:30 a.m. today in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept 29, 1875, in Jefferson Township, a son of John C. and Anna Miller Kaser. On April 10, 1889, he was married to Amelia B. Ost, who died Sept. 30, 1937. A retired farmer, Mr. Kaser was "Golden Sheaf" member of Tiverton Grange and a life member of Dutch Run Trinity United Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Hilda Kaser of the home and Miss Ada Kaser of Massillon; and three sons, Albert of the home, John of Walhonding Rt. 2 and Willard of Ravenna. Three half-brothers and one grandson are deceased. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Fischer Funeral Home, Warsaw, in charge of the Rev. Wayne Harman. Burial will be in Tiverton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday and until services Saturday. -- The Coshocton Tribune, July 9, 1970
