Jacob Heimbaugh was the son of Peter Heimbach.

Per SAR member, Clark Brocht, this is a duplicate stone. His body is actually in Pinkerton Cemetery, which was destroyed, and is now inaccessible. The old stones were removed or destroyed in the early 1900s, so the SAR put this replacement stone near to his son's stone.

Jacob was the son of Peter HEIMBACH and Mary Elizabeth MEYER. He married Dorthea ____. Served in the Revolutionary War, Co 3, 6th Battalion, Northampton Co. Militia under Capt. Adam Stahler and Lieut Col. Henry Geiger. Known children for Jacob and Dorthea were: Benjamin, Daniel, Christina Caty (Mrs. Frederick Flick), Elizabeth (Mrs. John Enos), Susanna, Moleta "Molly", and Jacob Jr.
