She died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, in Weatherford.

Born Aug. 31, 1918, in Wise County, she was a homemaker and a member of the East Bankhead Church of Christ in Weatherford.

Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Houchins of Weatherford; two daughters, Pearlene Houchins and Betty Blevins and husband Bill. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joe Richardson, Jack Richardson, Jimmy Pewitt, Earl McReynolds, Fred McReynolds and Bobby Blevins.
