HUBERT LOESCH
Hubert Loesch, 86, prominent farmer of the Fairmont community, died early Monday in an Enid hospital. He was born at Jefferson City, Mo, and moved with his parents to a farm south of Fairmont in 1907, where he was living at the time of his death.
Loesch was married to Martha Krey at Fairmont Feb 8, 1923. They farmed until ill health forced his retirement. Loesch was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church at Fairmont.
He is survived by his wife Martha of the home; a son, Paul A. Loesch of Fairmont; three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Norma) Plott, Duluth, Ga., Mrs. Raymond (Bernita) Neujahr, Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. James R. (Leona) Plott, Lawrenceville, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Loesch was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter, a grandson and his wife, and a daughter-in-law.
Those who wish may make memorials to the Lutheran Hour or the Heart Division of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. The church or the Brown Funeral Home will serve as custodians of the memorial fund.
The body will lie in state Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church from 11 a.m. and the casket will remain closed following the service.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Zion Lutheran Church at Fairmont with the Rev. John A. Schmidt officiating. Pallbearers will be Calvin Eggers, Ralph Kremeier, James Krey, David [Loesch], Teddy Loesch, and George Lang. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, under direction of Brown Funeral Home.
