Thomas Fly was Sioux. His name was Yuhakinyawpi. He married Alma (Many Horses). She was a daughter of Sitting Bull.( This information was given in an interview by her son, Felix Fly, in 1972, for a book by Rose Tidball,"Taming The Plains") They were married at Ft. Yates, ND. He was married once before and she is unknown at this time.
Alma Ramsey was not a daughter of Sitting Bull, according to contributors. And Joseph was not her son. But Josephs mother was probably a daughter of Sitting Bull. Therefore Joseph would be a grandson of Sitting Bull. Sandy 2/21
