THE DECEASED. Mr. William Love was fifty-nine years of age. He came here from Ripley county, and went into partnership with Jacob P. Dunn in the real estate and loan business. His family consists of a wife and two children, a son and daughter. The former is Mr. John W. Love, one of the directors of the Indiana School of Art, the other Matilde J. Love. Both are unmarried. The deceased was a prominent member of Roberts Park church, and during the era of speculation, accumulated a large amount of property, and was rated a wealthy man. Recently, however, he filed a petition of bankruptcy, and was compelled to give up a $5,000 policy in the Franklin life insurance company. He was well known in political circles, and last spring was a candidate for the nomination for sheriff before the democratic convention. John W. Love said last night that his father was getting out of his financial difficulties nicely, but whether anything will now be left of the estate can not be told.
