David Jordan
David Jordan, 91, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at his residence in Greencastle.
He was born July 15, 1913, in Indianapolis. His parents were Chris and Lulu Lucinda (Records) Jordan. He married Clara Louisa (Bartley) Jordan on June 18, 1939, at Whiteland Methodist Church. She preceded him in death Jan. 10, 2001. Survivors include a son, Richard C. Jordan of Anchorage, Alaska; four daughters, Rachel L. Jenkins of Greentown, Mary L. Berry of Greencastle, Martha A. Turner of Cory and Nedra K. Jordan of Pleasant Ridge, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two infant daughters.
He graduated from Whiteland High School in 1931.
He was a farmer, retiring in 1988.
There will be no services or calling. French Funeral Home in Brazil, Ind., is handling arrangements.
