Her mother was Janet Hadfield Lefler, her father was Ebenezer Lefler. She was born in Tremonton, Utah, one of eight.
Mom was a lady of the highest degree. She had a great life, doing all the things she loved with her husband Walter Griffin of sixty-eight years. They fished, hunted, gardened together for all those years. Of all the things they did, her favorite was dancing and they were fantastic on the dance floor! She retired from Sears credit department in 1968.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Warren) Lyngle, her son Walter (Linda) Griffin; six grandchildren: Teresa Moriarity, Susan Finch (Greg), Amy Griffin (Michael), Jennifer Taylor, Walter (Yvonne) Griffin, and Todd (Linda G.) Griffin. She had fifteen great-grandchildren and four children to whom she was Godmother.
A Memorial Service will be held at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
