BELTON – Randolph "Doc" Smith, 69, of 107 Grey Road, widower of Mary Edna Cooley Smith, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his home. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Bennie and Reba Lee Mann Smith. He was retired from Triangle Construction.

Surviving are daughter, Linda Smith Rogers of Gaffney; sisters, Leola Hooper of Munford, AL, Mary Jeans of Ware Shoals, Martha Neely of Honea Path; three grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Johnny Ray Smith.

Visitation will be held from 1-2:30 pm Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Graveside services will follow at 3 pm Thursday in Beech Springs Tabernacle Cemetery with Rev. Eric Boggs officiating. The family is at the home of Mary Jeans, 4 1/2 N. Greenwood Ave., Ware Shoals.
