Cassandra Banks was the daughter of Henry Banks (my G-G-G Grandfather)and his first wife, Catherine Pruett of North Carolina.
Cassandra had five children but never married:
James Harrison Banks (father was full blooded Indian) [I believe his name was William Henry Harrison Banks. by Barney Banks.]
Lansford "Lance" Banks I (father-Anderson Fields)
Martha "Jane" Jennie Banks
John Riley Banks I (father-Riley Hall)
William "Henry" Banks I
Cassandra resided with her son Lansford Banks and his wife as late as the June 1880 Census of Letcher County Census. She would have died sometime after that date. (Contrary to an earlier posting, she did no immigrate to Oklahoma with her descendants in 1907, as someone had stated. She would have been 97 years old.
Cassandra led a colorful life working as a midwife, caring for expectant mothers, in their homes.

Gravesite Details
Cassandra Banks was NOT buried in Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville, Creek County, Oklahoma. I have been to that cemetery many, many times and she is not buried there. In fact she did not immigrate to Oklahoma with the Bankses because she was dead .
