On 7 Mar 1861 Mary Gambrel married Willard Lowe in Hancock County, Indiana, son of Woodbeck C. Lowe and Melinda Neal, d/o Benjamin Neal and Delilah Barton.

LaHarpe, April 11--Mrs. Mary Low aged 72 years, died at her home on North Main street Wednesday morning at four o'clock from illness incident ot advanced years.

Mrs. Lowe is survived by her husband and eight children, Mrs. M. Harvey, Mildred Kansas; Mrs. Eliza Brownfield, Cole, IA; Cordelia Patterson, Ponca City, Ok; Frank Lowe, Moran, Kas; D. E. Lowe of Ava, Mo; Zelma Hayes, living five miles south of Iola; Nettie Alexander of Mildred; J.E. Lowe of this city and Mrs. Elmla Lust deceased. The funeral services will be conducted at the home Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock and interment will be in the LaHarpe cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Lowe have been residents of Allen county for thirty years and have a host of friends who will sympathize with the relatives in the death of their wife and mother.

The funeral services of Mrs. Willard Lowe were held at the home on North Main street this afternoon at 3 o'clock and the remains were laid to rest in the LaHarpe cemetery
