JAMESPORT, Mo. — Rose Prothero, 66, Jamesport, died Friday, November 20, 2009, at Sunnyview Nursing Home, Trenton.
Survivors: husband, Delbert Prothero; daughters, Karen Prothero, Cathy Rice; son, Greg Prothero; sisters, Maxine Prothero and Dorothy Neihause; brother, Frankie Clark; two grandchildren.
Service: 2 p.m. Monday, Shelburne Baptist Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, McWilliams Funeral Home, Jamesport, where friends may call after 12 noon. Burial: Shelburne Cemetery, near Trenton. Memorials: Shelburne Cemetery

Rose M. Prothero, 66, of Jamesport, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Mrs. Prothero was born on June 1, 1943 to Elmer and Ruth King Clark in Breckenridge, where she attended school. On Oct. 8, 1958, she married Delbert Prothero in Breckenridge. The couple moved to Jamesport where they made their home and raised their family.
She was a stay-at-home mother and later started babysitting. She was a member of the Shelburne Baptist Church.
Mrs. Prothero is survived by her husband of 51 years, Delbert, of the home; children: Karen Prothero of the home, Greg Prothero, Armstrong, Mo.; Cathy Rice, Soldier, Kan.; and sisters: Maxine Prothero and Dorothy Neihause, both of Chillicothe; brother: Frankie Clark of Breckenridge; two grandchildren: Justin and Joe Rice.
Mrs. Prothero was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: George Clark, John Thomas Clark and Junior Ray Clark; infant sister: Francis; and infant son, Jeffrey.
Services were to be held today (Monday), Nov. 23, 2009 at the Shelburne Baptist Church near Trenton, Mo. Burial was to follow at the Shelburne Cemetery near Trenton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelburne Cemetery, in the care of the McWilliams Family Funeral Homes, Inc., 501 North Locust, Jamesport, Mo. 64648.
Arrangements were under the direction of the McWilliams Family Funeral Homes, Inc., in Jamesport.
