Harriet, daughter of Elmer Ellsworth Willett and Sarah Melissa Pincombe is also a 1st cousin to my Mother. Hattie, her brother Roy, and their parents, relocated from the state of Michigan to Bayou La Batre, Alabama after the death of her Uncle William Edward Pincombe in February 1912. Her cousin, Ina Pincombe, daughter of William and Grandfather, James Pincombe, also traveled to Alabama with the Willett family. Hattie was age (15) the year they made this move, her brother was age (8)

She married Sewell Simonson of Bayou La Batre abt 1921 (per the 1930 Census) and they were blessed with children: (3) sons, (4)daughters.

Hattie passed away in 1951 and was laid to rest in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre, Mobile, Alahama her home town since 1912. Sewell lived another 18 years, leaving this world in 1969. He was also interred in this cemetery, and now lies beside his bride as he did for so many years before. (jgkeeney1)
