MRS. FRANK THARP
The funeral for Mrs. Nellie Tharp, 71, formerly of 517 N. 13th, will be at 2 pm Monday at the Geisendorf Rush Smith funeral home, the Rev. Merle Freeman officiting. Burial will be in the Gypsum Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Tharp died Friday at Crestview nursing home where she had lived since 1968.
She was born Sept. 19, 1903, at Altoona, Pa., and she lived most of her life in Salina. She was the widow of Frank Tharp, who died in 1960.
Mrs. Tharp was a Jehovah's Witness.
Surviving are a brother, John Pyle, Denver, Colo., and 2 sisters, Mrs. Harriett Davis, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Frank Murray, Crystal Beach. Fla.
