Services were held May 31, 1989, at the Sulphur Springs Methodist Church in Bennington for Joseph Fobb, 80, who passed away May 28, 1989. Mr. Fobb was born September 4, 1908 in Blue, Oklahoma.

He was a retired school bus driver and a member of the Sulphur Spring Methodist Church and Disabled American Veterans. He and the former Minerva Billy were married September 3, 1947 in Bennington.

She survives at the Bennington home. He is also survived by three daughters: Joann Frank, Dallas, Bernice Williams, Bennington, and Louella Ollis, Kilgore, TX; and three stepdaughters: Verna Mills, Stinnette, TX., Phyllis Knight, Bennington; and Eleanor Louis, Idabel. Other survivors include three stepsons: Claude Billy, Chicago; James Pamplin, Fort Worth; and Arnold Bully, Durant; 11 grandchildren, 18 step-grandchildren, five nieces, two nephews and one step nephew.

The Rev. Benson Wallace officiated, assisted by the Rev. Lester Tims and the Rev. William Louis. Burial was in the Bennington Cemetery. The Oklahoma Vietnam ERA Veterans preformed military honors at the graveside. Bearers were Richard Hamill, Rodney Evans, Junior Blaine, James Ray Billy, Terry Don Cole, and Ronnie Sanders.
