HERMAN T. MASON, 77, of Bartlett, auto mechanic, died Saturday at his home. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of Gaston Baptist Church. Mr. Mason, the husband of Dorothy Hood Mason, also leaves two daughters, Mary Brewington of Bartlett and Denell Rodgers of Whiteville, Tenn.; a son, Fred Mason of Bartlett; four stepsons, Ronald Hood of Bartlett, Donald Hood of Horn Lake, and Charles Hood and Michael Hood, both of Memphis; three brothers, Jimmy Mason of Eads, Arlon Mason of Booneville, Miss., and Gary Mason of Oxford, Miss., 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
