Marion (Sears) Noli, age 94, of Newington, the wife of the late Gabriel Noli, Sr., passed away on December 3, 2009 at Jefferson House.


Marion was born in Port Henry, NY on January 10, 1915. Marion lived in Connecticut for over sixty-eight years. She was the daughter of Charles Sears of Rutland, VT and Hazel Norton of Port Henry, NY.


She raised her family on Front Street in Hartford, and enjoyed her work at the Central Delicatessen in West Hartford Center. She later became a long-time resident of Broadview Terrace in Hartford, and worked for many years with her good friend and landlady, the late Miss Jane Hart.


Marion is survived by her three sons and their wives, Dino and Olga Noli of Manchester, Gabriel (Jr.) and Nancy Ganley Noli of Hartford, and Ronald and Donna Noli of East Hampton, CT; her sister Lorraine Decker of Westport, NY; her two brothers Robert Sears and wife Diane, and Douglas Sears and wife Yvonne of Crown Point, NY. Marion is also survived by her grandchildren, Roxann and her husband Joseph Bartone of East Hampton, David and his wife Kristine Noli of Southington, Elizabeth and her husband David Roberts of Hartford, Karyn and her husband Phillip Thurston of Slidell, LA, and Thomas Sheehan of Newton, MA; her great-grandchildren, Kimberly Bartone, Jillian and Jack Noli. Marion was predeceased by her sister Myrtle Decker and her son Ralph Noli.


The Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Dillon Baxton Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Her family will receive family and friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
