Joan Hobbs Lemmler, 75, of Port Allen, LA passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2008 in Baton Rouge, LA after losing her battle with COPD. She was born in Bay St. Louis, MS and was a longtime resident before moving to Port Allen, LA. She was of the Catholic Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lazaro and Alberta "Bertie" Hobbs Holland. She is survived by her two sons, Philip Lemmler, Jr. & his wife, Sheila of Gonzales, LA, William Lemmler of Praireville, LA, five daughters, Deanne Richard of Baton Rouge, LA, Shelley Dedeaux & husband, Roger of Bay St. Louis, MS, Charlotte Couvillon & husband, Thomas of Lafayette, LA, Laurie Culmone of Port Allen, LA, and Leslie Bordelon & husband, Bruce of Port Allen, LA, two brothers, Lazaro Holland, Jr. of Bay St. Louis, MS, Floyd Holland of DeLisle, MS, and 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. The visitation will be on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. The Procession will leave the Funeral Home at 11:45 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. Interment will follow in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to Our Lady of the Gulf Re-Building Fund. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
