Death Takes Mrs. Deaton
Funeral services for Mrs. Henrietta Deaton, 80, 1103 Grant Street, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Gipson Chapel with Rev. H. E. Small officiating. Interment will follow in the Bennett Cemetery, Trinity County.
The body wil be in state at the funeral home.
Mrs. Deaton was born in Trinity County on November 16, 1881, and died early Monday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a former resident of Trinity County, had lived in Lufkin for 40 years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Lufkin.
Survivors inclue one daughter, two sons, two sisters, two brothers, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Gipson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
