Eva was married to Elmer Singleton on 11 Oct 1924. To this union 8 children were born. They are: Doris May, Betty Jane, Louise Joan, Carol Evelyn, Elenor Elizabeth, Naida Louise Singleton, Buddy E. and Basie Singleton. Eva married the second time to George Bernard " Bernie" Miller on Oct 3, 1938 at Mansfield, Wright county, Missouri. To this union 4 children were born Jackie, Michael Bernard, Mary Ann, Rosie Laverne Miller.


Ava Woman Dies Following Short Illness
Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Miller, 62, Ava, were held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Clinkingbeard Chapel with the Rev. Alva Thurman officiating. Burial was in Ava cemetery.
Mrs. Miller died Tuesday morning at her home after a three - day illness. She was born May 3, 1907, in Douglas County, and was married Ocyober 3, 1938, in Mansfield, to Bernie Miller, who survives. She was a member of the Christain church.
Other survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Sheldon, Mrs. Harvey Platt and Mrs. Woodrow Coonce, all of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs Johnny Daw, Pensacola, Florlda, Mrs. Alvin Miller and Mrs. Buster Potte, both of Ava; two sons, Jack Miller, Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Mike Miller, Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Claude and Frank Yeisley, of Ava; five step - children, Mrs. Nellie Turner, Mrs. Betty Jean Scott, and Russell, Joe and Johnny Miller; 22 grandchildren and two great - grandchildren; 13 step - grandchildren and 15 step great - grandchildren.
