Her grief over the death of her granddaughter Flora 10 hours earlier, as well as the grippe and a cancerous affliction which had troubled her for two years, resulted in her death. Aged 55 years and 6 months. Survived by her husband and sons, Samuel S., Jeremiah and Isaac N., all living in and near North Creek. She was a sister of John Grant and had many relatives in the neighborhood.
