PAINTER, WILLIE E. age 88, of Hayden, died July 14, 1995. He was a retired coal miner and a member of UMWA No.7918. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial in the West Jefferson Cemetery. Minister Doug Tate officiating. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Sunday. Survivors: sons, Willie E. Painter, Jr., Pensacola, Fla.; Curtis R. and Jimmy Kenneth Painter, both of Hayden; Jimmy Painter, Morris; Mitchell Painter, Dora; daughters, Colleen Odom, Bagley; Lorene Clark, Morris; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Buren Painter, Fulton, Miss.; Roy Davis, Rock Falls, Ill.; sisters, Alphie Needles, Hot Springs, Ark.; Delphia Hood, Fulton, and Ruthie Painter, Fulton; several nieces and nephews.
