Wife of William James Haslam, Sr.
First husband was Hugh McBride. One daugter, Nancy Isabelle "Belle" McBride. Nancy died in California at a very young age. Elizabeth Haslam was instrumental in keeping the United Methodist Church of Winchester going. When the congregation dwindled and the church seemed doomed to close, she hung a lantern on the front and held meetings anyway. She is credited with saving the building, when it was to be torn down.
She was a highly respected member of the community.
