MARION IGNATIUS BOONE, 69, of New Hope, died Wednesday at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, after an illness. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; three daughters, Mrs. Jerome (Frances) Goodman, Elizabethtown; Mrs. Parker (Ann) Mattingly of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Jeff (Mary) Thomas of Bardstown; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Nancy) Lamkin and Mary Sadie Boone, both of New Hope, and Mrs. George (Lucille) Runyan of Columbis, Ind., and a brother, Harvey Boone of Danville. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent dePaul Catolic Church, New Hope, with Rev. Stanley Osborne, pastor, as celebrant of the Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A prayer service will be conducted at eight o'clock tonight at the M. H. Proffitt Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
