Passing of an Old Resident
Miss Kate Peryam, a resident of Saratoga for nearly thirty years, passed away at her home on the east side of the river at 2:30 last Friday afternoon. Deceased had been ill for years, suffering from a form of paralysis, and for several months past had been almost entirely helpless and unable to leave her bed. She was 79 years of age.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, conducted by Dean Smith of the Episcopal church of Rawlins, and interment was in the local cemetery.
Miss Peryam, with others of her family came from England to this country many years ago and was among the early residents of the town. Surviving her are one sister, Miss Susan Peryam, who resides here, and a brother, W. T. Peryam, of Encampment.
