Simeon was in Seneca, Ontario County, New York in the 1800 and 1810 U.S. census. By 1818 Simeon and his family had moved to Sullivan County, Indiana and were there for the 1820 U.S. census. He was in Rockville, Parke, Indiana by 1830 and resided there the remainder of his life. Simeon Smith died on February 26, 1851 in Rockville, Parke County, Indiana.
Simeon married HESTER HELMS on September 22, 1794 in Cayuga County, New York, daughter of JACOB HELM (1737-1845) and HELENA VAN ETTEN (1738-____). Hester was born on February 22, 1778 and baptized on June 23, 1778 in the Minisink-Machackemec Church in Deerpark, Orange County, New York. She died on March 13, 1832 in Rockville, Parke County, Indiana. She is buried in the Rockville Cemetery.
