Everett Bigelow, 73, died at 6:40 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Fort Wayne.
A resident of Andrews for 62 years and lifelong resident of Huntington County, he was a 36-year employee of the Kitchen Maid Corporation, Andrews and later was employed by the General Engineering andManufacturing Company, Andrews, before retiring in 1972.
Born Dec. 18, 1900 in Monument City to James and Nora Downing Bigelow, his marriage was on Dec. 25, 1923 in Hunting-ton to Bertha Hodson, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Lewis Bigelow, Huntington and John Bigelow, Carlsbad, N.M., two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Detamore, Andrews and Mrs. Carolyn Thompson, Wabash, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, six sisters, Mrs. Vila Karst, Cheboygan, Mich., Mrs. Jessie Karst, Rt. 7, 'Mrs. Marie Saal, Huntington, Mrs. Edith Blumer, Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Estella Smith, Huntington and and Mrs. Josephine Gelzleichter, Indianapolis, two brothers, Evan Bigelow and Albert Bigelow and one sister, Leota Kline are deceased.
Friends may call at the Deal Funeral Home, Andrews, after 2 p.m. Tuesday where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Wayne Lawson officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Paul Dean Wagner, Phillip Wagner, Larry Williams, James Karst, Virgil Kline and Edwin Bigelow.
Burial was in the Lancaster Cemetery.
